CAROLYN WALSH

Certified Geriatric Care Manager and Founder

Carolyn founded Senior Steps in 2017 to bring top-quality care and advocacy to older adults. Having worked with seniors and their families in various healthcare facilities, she has built the company with a mission of filling in the gaps in a system that fails to provide accessible, comprehensive, person-centered care to the elderly. With an extensive network of trusted service providers and community contacts built over many years of experience in nursing and geriatric care management, she has continued to grow our team and range of services to tailor to clients’ varying needs. She bridges her background in communications, education, and nursing to provide thorough assessment and recommendations for aging clients and their families.  Her experience caring for the elderly in both clinical environments and home settings provides the expertise to consult, advise and guide on acute care needs, as well as managing and meeting needs over time. With a unique sense of appreciation for each season of life, Carolyn and her team will guide you to experience the very best during these later years.

LINDSAY CERONE

Care Advocate

Lindsay, our expert Care Advocate, has been working in the healthcare industry for 15 years. Geriatrics has always held a special place for her. She worked as a nurse in long-term care, short-term rehab, primary care, and on a dementia unit. Being part of the Senior Steps team has allowed her to marry all the things she loves most about being a nurse. It gives her an opportunity to provide a focused, person-centered approach to care for her clients. When she is not working, she is a busy wife and mom of two.

She worked in geriatric care on a personal level taking care of her own elderly parents, especially after her mother started showing symptoms of dementia. At Senior Steps, she runs much of the day-to-day work behind the scenes and ensures operations run smoothly for our clients.
